Adslot appoints former Hitwise President, Chris Maher to lead US operations

Dear Shareholder,

This morning, Adslot announced the appointment of former Hitwise global sales executive and CEO, Chris Maher, as the President of the Company’s US operations.

Chris is very well known to both Adrian Giles (fellow director) and myself, having worked at Hitwise for seven years from 2003 – 2009, establishing our US operations, leading our global sales organisation, and eventually becoming President of Hitwise globally after we sold the business to Experian in 2007.

In that time, Chris grew Hitwise’s sales organisation from a handful of people, to more than 250 people globally; acquired more than 1,500 top-tier enterprise customers; and drove revenues from approx. A$8M to more than A$90M (US$64M) across the US, UK and Asia Pacific.

Chris was also a key member of the executive team that was instrumental in the successful sale of Hitwise to Experian for US$240M (~A$300M) in June 2007.

He was appointed President of the Hitwise organisation globally following the acquisition by Experian.

Since establishing Adslot’s US operations, Adrian and I have engaged with Chris over many years in an attempt to bring him into the Adslot business, and lead our US operations.  The timing has not been right, until now.

Chris was engaged by the Company to review and assess it’s US operations late last year.  After a brief consulting period, Chris determined that he was very interested in leading the US operations given the enormous growth opportunity that lies ahead for Adslot.  He was particularly impressed with Adslot’s technology platform; the quality of our publisher clients; and the recent signings of US agency holding companies.

We are very excited to have Chris on board to really unlock the US revenue opportunity, and wish him every success in his new role as President, North America for Adslot.
